The yarn is made of 50 denier fine-denier polyester. For the texture and weave characteristics:The fabric features a double-layer check pattern with rectangular double lines and a "check-within-check" design. Based on a modified plain weave structure, the fabric surface displays fine, evenly defined rectangular double-line checks, creating a bas-relief three-dimensional "check-within-check" effect that delivers rich visual layering and texture. The fabric surface has a soft, matte finish.

Waterproof and Windproof Performance

With a functional composite finish, the fabric offers excellent waterproof and windproof capabilities. It has passed the JIS standard water resistance test with a hydrostatic pressure rating of 10K (10,000 mmH₂O), suitable for moderate to heavy rain conditions. Its windproof performance, achieved through high-density weaving combined with a composite membrane structure, effectively blocks cold wind penetration, reduces heat loss, and enhances warmth retention during outdoor activities.

Moisture Vapor Transmission Performance

The fabric also meets JIS standards for moisture vapor transmission, achieving a rating of 15K (15,000 g/m²/24h), far exceeding the requirements of basic outdoor fabrics. This allows gaseous sweat vapor emitted by the body to diffuse outward through micropores, preventing condensation buildup inside the garment during exercise or in humid conditions, thus keeping the wearer dry and comfortable. A 15K moisture vapor transmission rating is considered mid-to-high-end for outdoor fabrics, suitable for moderate-intensity outdoor activities while balancing waterproofing and breathability.

Additional Practical Properties

Polyester inherently provides wrinkle resistance, pilling resistance, and easy care.
